A Perth City Centre thoroughfare is on lockdown due to an ongoing police incident involving a male.
Skinnergate between High Street and Mill Street has been cordoned off with a large police presence in the area.
A Tayside Police spokesperson said there was “concern for a person” and that they were called to the incident around 11.00am.
The fire services has also been called to the scene where locals say they are concerned for a man in one of the properties.
A spokesperson for The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service arrived at the scene at 11.44am and are assisting police.
Police Scotland have been contacted for information.
