A 13-year-old boy has been assaulted by a group of three older teenagers during a Saturday afternoon attack in Perthshire.
The victim was attacked and verbally abused by a gang of three teenagers believed to be around 17 years of age during the incident near a chip shop on Auchterarder High Street between 2pm and 3pm on October 19.
Police have launched an investigation into the assault which left the boy shaken and upset but not badly injured.
Officers say they are following a positive line of inquiry but are hoping to speak to members of the public who they know were in the area at the time of the assault.
One suspect is described as slim with hair in a distinctive fringe, wearing a black zip-up hooded top and riding a BM-style bike.
The second suspect was also slim with dark brown hair, slight facial stubble, wearing a green Stone Island jumper and dark jogging bottoms.
The third was tall, slim build, short haired wearing skinny jeans and a dark hoody.
