Three people have been arrested after a Perth shopkeeper was allegedly threatened and robbed at knifepoint.
The Minas store on North Methven Street was apparently targeted by two men and investigators are trying to retrace their steps on Thursday night.
An employee of another shop nearby called the police when he allegedly saw one of the men, while standing outside the store, take out a weapon.
The men and a woman were arrested later.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Two men and a woman have been arrested on suspicion in connection with a robbery in Perth.
“The incident happened around 7.30pm on Thursday in the North Methven Street area of the town. Enquiries are ongoing.”
The three are due to appear in court on Monday.
