A woman has been threatened and robbed at knifepoint in Perth.
Police issued an appeal for witnesses following the incident near the city’s Lehtam Primary School on Saturday morning.
Investigators said the 54-year-old victim was walking on a path between Tweedsmuir Road and Struan Road at around 8am.
A younger man in a hooded jacket pulled a knife on her, and made off with her handbag and purse.
The suspect is described as white, between 20 to 30-years-old and around 5ft 7in. He had an average build and was clean shaven. He was described as wearing a black hooded jacket, with his hood up, and jeans.
Detective Sergeant Ryan Thompson, of Dundee CID, said: “The victim was shaken but didn’t suffer any serious injuries.
“If anyone remembers seeing anyone matching this description around the area at that time acting suspiciously, or has any relevant information, please contact us.”
