Police investigating an alleged hit-and-run in Perth have charged a 35-year-old man.
A probe was launched after a man suffered a serious leg injury, following a collision outside McDonald’s restaurant in the city’s Dunkeld Road last week.
Police appealed for the driver of a “light coloured van” to get in touch.
A force spokesman confirmed that a man had now been charged, and was expected to appear in court on Tuesday.
“A 35-year-old man has been charged after a road collision on October 29 at Dunkeld Road, Perth,” he said.
“A vehicle hit a 22-year-old man outside McDonald’s at 9.40pm.
“The man is expected to appear at Perth Sheriff Court tomorrow.”
