Police are probing a break-in at an Aldi supermarket in Perth.
The Glasgow Road branch was taped off after thieves smashed their way inside in the early hours of Wednesday morning. They made off with a quantity of alcohol.
A sign on the front door told customers the store was temporarily shut while staff “wait for forensics.”
After an examination, the store was able to re-open by mid-morning.
Police Scotland confirmed that officers were investigating a break-in and have called for witnesses to get in touch.
