A major Tayside road was closed this morning following a multi-vehicle crash
Emergency services were called to the scene at around 7.25am.
The northbound carriageway was initially closed north of junction 9 at Bridge of Earn, with police preventing traffic joining the motorway from the Bridge of Earn sliproad.
The incident caused traffic to tailback on the M90.
The road has since reopened after the vehicles were moved to the hard shoulder.
It is currently unknown how many vehicles are involved but a Police Scotland spokeswoman said there did not appear to be any serious injuries.
