Police Scotland are appealing for witnesses after medication was stolen from a sheltered housing complex in Perth.
The prescribed painkillers were taken from within a secure close at a unit in Bowerswell Park at sometime between 12pm and 11pm on Monday December 16.
Officers have also put out a warning to the public about the dangers of taking prescribed medication.
A spokesperson for Tayside Police said: “As with all medicines, these can be dangerous if taken by someone for whom they are not prescribed or in large quantities.”
Anyone with information on the theft should contact Police Scotland on 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
