Thousands of dancers partied on the streets of Pitlochry for the famous New Year’s Day ceilidh on January 1.
Visitors travelled from far and wide to the Highland Perthshire town to attend the three hour extravaganza and dust off any Hogmanay hangovers.
Organisers closed off Atholl Street from 1pm to 4pm where The West Telferton Caledonian Dance Band with compere Eddie Rose entertained guests and locals alike.
Other forms of entertainment, including the Silly McBee clown performer, were held at Fishers Hotel in the centre of town.
Catriona Randle, receptionist at Fishers, said they were booked out for the event.
She said: “I believe it was a great success. Thousands and thousands of people.
“It’s been a really interesting mix of visitors and locals.
“It was extremely busy. We were fully booked.
“We’ve had people book at the hotel literally just to go to the street party.
“It was lots of fun, it really was.”
