A large police presence has been reported in Bridge of Earn with officers saying they are responding to concerns for a person.
Witnesses have described seeing up to six police vehicles in the Balmanno Park area of the Perthshire town with patrols also being spotted in Clayton Road.
Police Scotland have confirmed that they are currently at the scene due to concerns for a person but say the matter is “in hand”.
A spokesperson for the force said they were “making enquiries” regarding the incident.
