A three-vehicle crash caused heavy tailbacks on one of Tayside’s busiest crossings.
The accident took place at the Friarton Bridge, on the A90 Dundee to Perth Road, at about 5.25pm.
The incident occurred on the northbound section of the route.
No one was hurt but the vehicles involved were said to be blocking the route, with traffic heavy as a result.

A police spokeswoman said: “We were called to reports of a crash on the M90 northbound just at the Friarton Bridge at around 5.25pm.
“They (the vehicles involved) are blocking the road.”
Traffic Scotland said at 7.30pm that all lanes had been cleared.
