A man has suffered “serious” injuries following a crash on one of Perthshire’s busiest roads.
The drivers of both cars were taken to Ninewells Hospital following the crash, which closed the road for more than two hours.
The 73-year-old who was behind the wheel of the Mondeo suffered serious injuries, but police say he is in a “stable” condition.
The 70-year-old woman who was driving the Kia suffered minor injuries and has been released from hospital.
Police are now appealing for witnesses to come forward.
