A busy rural road connecting Perthshire and Aberdeenshire has been closed after lorries became stuck in snow.
Police say the A93 Braemar to Perth road is closed at the Spittal of Glenshee after HGVs became stuck in the snow.
Traffic is said to be building up on the road.
A yellow warning of snow and ice is in place across Tayside and Fife until 11am.
A statement from Tayside Police Division reads: “The A93 road at the Spittal of Glenshee is currently closed due to stuck heavy goods vehicles in the snow.
“Gritters are attending however having difficulty due to the traffic. Motorists are asked to avoid the area at this time.”
