A cyclist has died in an early morning crash on a rural Perthshire road.
Emergency services were called to the A912 Baiglie Straight, near Aberargie, just after 6.30am on Friday.
A Police Scotland spokesman confirmed that a 36-year-old male cyclist had died in the collision.
Inspector Greg Burns said: “‘The man’s next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
“The road is closed to allow crash investigations to be carried out and we would appeal to anyone who witnessed the collision to get in touch with Police Scotland on 101 quoting 0500 of today’s date”
