A Perthshire road that was the scene of a fatal collision this morning is set to be reopened to traffic.
The A912 Bridge of Earn to Aberargie road, known as the Baiglie Straight, was closed at around 6.30am on Friday when cyclist Adam Pattinson was struck by an oncoming car and killed.
A spokesperson for Perth and Kinross Council said: “Police Scotland have confirmed the A912 south of Bridge of Earn is clear to be re-opened to all traffic.
“The local diversion signs will be removed once our staff confirm the route is clear.”
Police Scotland said the road was due to reopen at around 5pm.
Tributes have flooded in for Mr Pattinson since his tragic death.
