NHS Tayside has been fined £120,000 for a series of criminal failings that led to the deaths of three women at a Perth hospital.
Jodie McNab, Rebecca Sangster and Jacqueline Proctor took their own lives while they were patients at the Moredun ward at Murray Royal Hospital.
Health chiefs admitted criminal responsibility for their deaths, after the board ignored a previous warning over ligature points on unsuitable furniture and fittings.
Perth Sheriff Court heard that a series of “robust” improvements have been made since the tragedies.
