A Perth gym is to helping people to keep fit during isolation by running a free workout sessions online.
Mike Lindsay, founder of Club 300 in Perth and Blairgowire, has set up All Together Online Training over Facebook Live to help people with their physical and mental health during long periods of isolation.
Mike and his team will run two live sessions Monday to Friday at 8.30am and 5.30pm.
Mike said: “It’s for people to stay active during this time of quarantine.
“We were going to be doing it for our private members but then we thought why not do it for everyone.
“Many are understandably growing anxious with the current Covid-19 outbreak and the effects on life, business and the economy.
“It’s important in the coming months to all come together.
“Mental health along with general physical health is hugely improved with activity.”
Mike began his online sessions last week and has already been encouraged with the response, having people join in from as far away as Vancouver.
He has also tried to create a community feel to the endeavour by having chart boxes and also asking people to post their “sweaty selfies” using #club300QuaranTeam.
