Public adheres to Easter weekend lockdown guidance #StayHomeSaveLives
The world is a very different place than it was just a matter of months ago, never mind a year ago.
Coronavirus has changed the way we treat our outdoor spaces and how public gatherings that would have seemed completely normal are now almost unthinkable.
The government made repeated pleas ahead of the Easter weekend for people to stay at home and not be tempted to flock to parks and beaches as the first glimpses of spring emerge.
And it appears the people of Tayside and Fife have listened and largely stayed indoors.
These pictures show how places that were busy during last year’s Easter weekend are eerily quiet.
But that helps slow the spread of coronavirus, so is a worthy sacrifice.
Hopefully the sun will be out in force come Easter weekend 2021.
