The owners of a rural Perthshire B&B had a rude awakening after a car careered into their garden in the early hours of Sunday morning.
The white BMW convertible demolished the wall of Coshieville House shortly before 2am.
The B&B lies five miles west of Aberfeldy on the junction between the B846 and the road to Fortingall.
The owners of the property said the incident had been a “surprise” but declined to comment further.
A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “We were called around 2.20am on Sunday April 12 following a report a car had crashed into a property on the B846 road, near Coshieville, Aberfeldy.
“A 22-year-old man has been arrested and charged in connection with road traffic offences. He is due to appear at Perth Sheriff Court at a later date.
“Nobody was injured in the incident.”
