A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a robbery of an elderly man outside a bank in Perth.
The incident happened today at around 10.20am near a TSB branch in the city centre.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 10:20 am on Friday 15 May 2020, police received a report an elderly man was the victim of a robbery in King Edward Street, Perth.
“Officers attended and a 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.
“The elderly man was uninjured and the money was retrieved.”
Inquiries into the incident are ongoing.
