A man has been taken to hospital following a serious crash on a busy Perthshire road.
The A85 Perth to Comrie road was closed for several hours near Crieff Golf Club following the incident at about 9am on Tuesday.
Police shut the road in both directions folowing the crash, with drivers told to find alternative routes.
A 55-year-old man was seriously injured in the collision and was taken to Ninewells Hospital.
The road was reopened between 11am and noon.
A Tayside Police Division statement reads: “The A85 near Crieff Golf Club has now re-opened following the earlier road traffic collision.
“A 55-year-old man has been taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee with serious injuries, however they are not thought to be life-threatening.
“Thank you to everyone affected by this incident for your patience and understanding.”
