A man has been arrested following a car chase in Perthshire.
Police took off in pursuit of the 35-year-old male after he allegedly failed to stop for officers in Methven shortly before 12pm on Wednesday.
The officers finally apprehended the driver about seven miles later in Crieff where they deployed a tactical stop manoeuvre.

A witness said they saw the officers crash into the car before a man was seen being put into the back of a police van. A male on a motorbike was later seen giving a statement.
Three police cars and a van remained on the street after the incident.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Officers attempted to stop a vehicle around 11.55am on Wednesday May 20 on Main Street, Methven.
“The driver failed to comply which resulted in a pursuit before the car was brought to a tactical stop on the A85 at its junction with Lodge Street.
“Nobody was injured as a result and a 35-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident.”
