Police have launched an investigation into the “unexplained” death of a 78-year-old woman in Perth.
Officers were called to a property on Viewlands Road after reports of the woman’s “sudden” death in the early hours of Wednesday morning.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1am on Wednesday, 27 May we were called to reports of a sudden death of a 78-year-old woman within a property on Viewlands Road, Perth.
“The death is being treated as unexplained and enquiries are ongoing.
“A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal in due course.”
