A car hit a central barrier on the A90 between Longforgan and Dundee on Friday morning.
Two fire appliances were sent to the scene to clear the road and allow traffic to flow on the northbound carriage.
A fire and rescue spokeswoman said there were no major injuries as a result of the incident.
The crash involved one vehicle.
Emergency services are still on the scene to clear the road and make it safe, but traffic is said to be able to pass.

A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Officers were called to the A90 near Longforgan at around 10.50am on Friday, 19 June, following a one-car crash. There were no injuries involved and recovery is being arranged.”
