Police have launched an investigation after a man stole a wallet from a parked vehicle in Perth, and used the contactless bank card to make purchases.
The incident took place on June 13 between 7.30am and 12pm at St Johnstone Football Supporters’ Club at Barossa Street.
He subsequently used the stolen bank card at the city’s Morrisons branch at 9.15am, Corky’s Newsagent at 9.36am, and Sainsbury’s, High Street at 11.18am the same day.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “CCTV has identified a male wearing a dark blue coloured parka styled jacket which had a brown fluffy hood.
“The hood was up and the male had a protective face mask on concealing his face.
“He is of medium build, around 5 foot 11 inches tall, blue jumper underneath his jacket and light blue jeans with trainers.”
Police are urging anyone with information to contact officers on 101 quoting CR/15595/20.
