Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was attacked as he walked his dog across a Perth bridge.
The assault happened in the city’s White Bridge, leading to Menzies Court, at around 9.30pm on Sunday, June 21.
The 56-year-old victim was approached by a man, who subsequently assaulted him, Police Scotland said.
The suspect is described as white, slim and in his 20s. He is said to be 5ft 8in with short dark hair.
Perth-based Constable John Fyfe said: “The victim was not seriously injured in this incident, but we are appealing for anyone with any information which may help our enquiries and to get in touch.”
He said: “We are particularly keen to speak to the person who was in the area at the time and may have witnessed the assault and spoke to the victim after the incident.”
Anyone with information is urged to call police on 101, quoting incident number 0073 of June 22.
