A child has been rescued from the banks of a waterway near Perth.
Emergency services rushed to the aid of the youth after they became stranded on the south bank of the River Tay at around 3.45pm.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service launched two rescue units to help the child before returning them to the care of their parents and ambulance service.
A spokesperson for SFRS said: “We got the call at 3.45pm to reports of a youth on the south bank and we mobilised two boats, one from Perth and one from Kingsway.
“We got the stop message at 4.26pm. The youth was in the care of his parents and Scottish Ambulance Service.”
