The body of a 48-year-old man has been found at a golf club on Moncrieffe Island in Perth.
Officers were called to the island around 3.40am on Tuesday following reports of concern for a person.
Shortly before 10am witnesses described a body being taken across the railway bridge by funeral directors before being placed in the back of a private ambulance.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 3:40am on Tuesday July 7 2020, police received a concern for person call and attended at a golf club in Tay Road, Perth.
“Officers attended and the body of a 48-year-old man was found. The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
