Two women have appeared in court accused of whacking a rival over the head with a rolling pin during a series of attacks on her.
Carol and Megan Sinclair allegedly assaulted Jamie Lee Devers by striking her on the head and body with a rolling pin in Leadenflower Place, Crieff, on April 12.
It is alleged they punched her repeatedly on the head and body and struck her on the body with a metal bar during the same incident.
The duo, who appeared together at Perth Sheriff Court on Friday, are alleged to have carried out another armed attack on the same woman in Kincardine Road, Crieff, on March 23.
It is alleged that they repeatedly punched and kicked her and struck her on the head and body with a knuckle duster and baseball bat to her injury.
Carol Sinclair, 42, of Alligan Road, Crieff, is also alleged to have been in possession of a knuckle duster and a rolling pin.
Megan Sinclair, 25, of Ochil Place, Crieff, is alleged to have possessed a baseball bat and a metal bar.
Both women denied all the charges and a trial was fixed for January next year by Sheriff Lindsay Foulis.
