A Perthshire hospital has been closed to new admissions after a coronavirus case was linked to the site.
St Margaret’s Community Hospital in Auchterarder will not accept new patents for the next week.
NHS officials say a single positive coronavirus case has been recorded in relation the 10-bed hospital. It is understood that the affected person is a patient at the site.
The seven day closure is a precautionary measure and appropriate infection prevention and control measures have been put in place.
Visiting has also been temporarily suspended at the hospital to help minimise the spread of the virus.
