A young motorcyclist was airlifted to hospital after a rural Perthshire road crash.
The 27-year-old’s white Triumph machine was involved in a collision with a black Volkswagen Golf car on the A822 Braco to Crieff Road, near the junction with Gunnocks.
The accident happened at around 4.20pm on Saturday.
A Police Scotland spokesman said the biker was seriously hurt and taken by helicopter to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
“Neither the male driver or female passenger of the motor car sustained any injury,” he said.
Police have appealed for any witnesses to the collision to get in touch.
Meanwhile, the funeral of a young motorcyclist who died in an accident last Sunday will be held this week.
Shona Mitchell was killed when her bike was involved in a collision with a car on the A85 at St Fillans, last weekend. The funeral will take place at Comrie Parish Church on Wednesday morning, followed by a ceremony at Perth Crematorium.
