The campaign will encourage more people take up the sport.
Eight Perthshire bowling clubs are amongst 251 clubs across the country taking part in Bowls Scotland’s Try Bowls campaign this summer.
Blackford, Blairgowrie, Bridge of Earn, Crieff, Glenfarg, Pitlochry, Rattray and West End Bowling Clubs have signed up to the campaign initially launched during the Glasgow 2014 Games to get more people of all ages playing bowls at clubs.
More than 200 bowling clubs took part in the 2015 Try Bowls campaign resulting in over 2000 people trying the sport.
