A Perthshire road that was closed to motorists – with police in attendance – has now reopened.
Police took to social media to announce the reopening, saying: “Police Scotland can confirm that the A9 is now open between Broxden Roundabout and A9 Crieff Road junction.”

Traffic Scotland said the A9 was closed in both directions between Broxden and Inveralmond roundabout “due to a police incident”.
Traffic Scotland advised motorists to use an alternative route and expect longer than normal journey times.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “It is confirmed there is a person [at the scene], and officers are in attendance.”
Police had put diversions in place.
