A severe weather warning will be in place across parts of Perthshire this weekend as Scotland braces for “unsettled” conditions.
Western parts of the region could be at risk of flooding as a “heavy” downpour hits from Saturday into Sunday.
A Met Office yellow warning for rain is in effect from 6am on Saturday until midnight on Sunday.
The forecaster said properties could be at risk of flooding, with travel disruption and tricky driving conditions possible.
The Met Office warning reads: “Periods of heavy rain are expected to affect southern, central and western Scotland through the weekend bringing a risk of flooding.
“There is the potential for some very unsettled weather through the coming weekend, especially across southern, central and western Scotland with periods of heavy rain expected through Saturday and, after a respite overnight, Sunday.
“The rain will fall onto already saturated ground increasing the risk of flooding.”
