A body has been found in the search for a Perth man missing since July following a recovery mission on the River Tay yesterday.
The family of Graham Sturrock, 54, have been informed of the discovery.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 1 pm on Wednesday October, 28, the body of a man was recovered from the River Tay, near to Elcho Castle, Perth.
“Enquiries are ongoing to establish the identity of the man and  the family of missing person Graham Sturrock, 54, from Perth has been informed of the discovery.”
Mr Sturrock has been missing for more than three months and was last seen in the city centre at 2pm on July 28.
The body was found yesterday afternoon following a search along the River Tay involving officers and the lifeboat which was launched from Broughty Ferry.
