An accident involving a car and a van caused tailbacks for motorists at the Inveralmond Roundabout in Perth.
The incident took place at 1.21pm on Wednesday and led to emergency services being called to the scene, with one lane blocked southbound.
A spokesperson for the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service said they sent two units from Perth after being told someone had been trapped in one of the vehicles.
“The accident involved a car and a van and one casualty was removed,” she said.
“We have a stabilisation unit there.”
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Police Scotland along with other emergencies are currently in attendance at road traffic incident involving two vehicles at Inveralmond Roundabout, Perth.”

Traffic Scotland warned motorists to “expect delays.”
The road was fully reopened around an hour later.
