Much missed US sitcom Friends has inspired a new musical challenge by a Tayside homeless charity.
Perth-based Churches Action for the Homeless (CATH) has recorded its own version of the hit show’s famous theme tune, I’ll Be There For You.
A video clip of members singing the first verse – complete with well-timed handclaps – has been viewed hundreds of times of social media.
The footage was filmed to show support for Mental Health Awareness Week which began on Monday.
The group is now challenging another local lifeline charity PKAVS to continue the song and post their own video online. PKAVS have been urged to pass the baton to another group to sing the next verse – and so on until the song is complete.
CATH was set up to support and promote the delivery of homeless projects across Perth and Kinross and help young men and women into accommodation.
