The new bargain buggies section hopes to help budget conscious families.
The charity Capability Scotland has launched a bargain buggies section in its city centre shop in Perth.
The Scott Street store has been stocking up on pre-owned prams, pushchairs, moses baskets, high chairs and other items parents need when they’re preparing to welcome a baby into the family.
Parenting website MumsNet estimates that the average new pram alone costs between £250 and £500.
The shop is hoping to grow its bargain buggies department and is appealing for familes to donate any good quality prams or items of baby equipment they no longer need. Visit the shop or contact manager Julie Cowie on 01738 630913 for more information.
