NHS Tayside has become the first health board in the country to win a Keep Scotland Beautiful national award for environmental excellence.
Two silver awards have been given for high standards at both Ninewells and Perth Royal Infirmary.
Malcolm Ross, grounds maintenance manager, said: “I am very proud of the grounds staff for achieving theses national awards for environmental excellence, especially since we are the first health board in Scotland to achieve this standard.
“The job of maintaining NHS Tayside’s many outside spaces usually goes unnoticed, but the team has always produced work to a very high standard.”
