The efforts to find a home for the Cossar Press which printed the Strathearn Herald in Crieff every week from 1907 to 1991 were outlined at the AGM of the Scottish Transport and Industrial Collections Knowledge group (STICK).
David Philips of Crieff donated the unique machine to the National Museums Scotland three years ago.
The meeting was held on a visit to the Maid of the Loch renovation project on Loch Lomond where John Beveridge, of Dunblane, spoke about the paddle steamer project.
