A young superfan who was named after Scotland’s premier folk duo came face-to-face with his music idol.
Six-year-old Corrie Roxburgh got the chance to meet singer Ronnie Browne, one half of The Corries, when he visited Comrie as part of a spoken word tour.
Corrie’s mum Caroline Galletta said: “The Corries are his dad and papa’s favourite group. He absolutely loves their music and listens to them all the time. Rattlin’ Bog is his favourite tune.
“When we heard that Ronnie was coming to town, we thought it would be great to get them together.
“We were going to go along to the event in the evening, but were told it might be too fruity for Corrie, so we met in the afternoon instead.”
