Pupils from schools across Perth joined volunteers from local charity Beautiful Perth to create a floral display outside Perth Leisure Pool.
This year’s theme is ‘Perth is Growing Better’ and the circular bed has three segments that demonstrate how beautiful and sustainable the city can be.
One segment will feature edible plants and vegetables planted in recycled ‘tattie’ boxes donated by a local farmer and rebuilt by the community payback team.
The second includes bedding plants in the colours of Beautiful Scotland, to celebrate the charity’s 50th anniversary
The third has wildflowers planted to support bee hives.
