Perth-based singer Katie Whittaker has launched her debut solo single to coincide with World Refugee Day.
Welcome To Life, written and performed by Katie, will be sold via various digital outlets with all of the profits being split equally between the Refugee Council UK and The Scottish Refugee Council.
Katie performed it for the first time in public at the launch in That Bar, Perth, on Monday.
“I have two young children, and the images of families with babies and toddlers making their way across treacherous journeys moved me so much I felt I had to do something,” she said.
