The finishing touches are being put to a spectacular Armistice display which is expected to draw huge crowds to Perth this summer.
The city’s award-winning Black Watch Museum will be decked out with thousands of poppy sculptures from the Tower of London’s iconic Blood Swept Lands installation.
The artwork, featuring 888,246 flowers each commemorating a fallen soldier, attracted millions of visitors when it was unveiled as part of events to mark a centenary of the First World War.
Perth will be the only place in mainland Scotland to host the Weeping Window and Wave elements of the sculpture. The display will run from Thursday to September 25.
The museum has also received a single ceramic poppy which will go on permanent display.
