Film fans of a certain age will be able to wallow in nostalgia when some original posters are auctioned in Perth.
From Jaws to The Blues Brothers and featuring stars like Clint Eastwood, Charles Bronson, Sylvester Stallone and Bruce Lee, the 80 posters would have been used at cinemas to advertise the current crop of movies at the time.
”They are folded and predominately in good condition and date from the 1970s to the early 80s,” said auctioneer Nick Burns.
“They include well-known films such as The Shining, 48 Hours, Fantasia and Flash Gordon. Single posters should fetch £10 up to £80.”
The posters are being sold on Thursday at Lindsay Burns & Co, King Street, Perth, and can be viewed at their website or the day before the sale.
