The driver of a dumper truck working on the riverbank of the Tay near to Scone Palace escaped unharmed after the vehicle toppled into the water.
The incident happened around lunchtime on Tuesday and involved a vehicle which had been working on banking on the Scone side of the river.
The truck was one of several vehicles working down on the shoreline as the game fair which took place in the palace grounds was dismantled.
The causeway from the grounds to the island had been built up to allow access during the game fair with gundog events staged there.
A digger which was working on site was able to right the dumper truck so it could be retrieved from the water.
Both Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue said they had not been alerted to the incident.
