T in the Park boss Geoff Ellis said his festival was back on track after overcoming great challenges.
Tens of thousands of music fans returned to Strathallan Castle for Scotland’s biggest live music extravaganza.
The event was rocked by tragedy on Thursday night with the the shock deaths of two teenage revellers.
And torrential downpours on Saturday and Sunday transformed the site into a giant mudbath, causing problems in the car parks.
But Mr Ellis has insisted that radical improvements made after a troubled show in 2015 had worked well. He pledged that the festival will stay at Strathallan for the foreseeable future.
