Police have returned to the scene of an armed robbery in Perth a week after the crime was carried out.
A staff member at Costcutter in Main Street, Bridgend, was threatened with a knife during the crime, which took place at 9.30pm on Sunday, July 17.
It’s understood the thief made off with a three-figure sum of money.
As a result, officers returned to the scene on Sunday evening when they spoke to local residents and pedestrians to assist their inquiries.
Police confirmed “extensive” inquiries have been carried out into the incident, including door-to-door investigations and scanning CCTV footage.
Detective Sergeant Marshall McKay said: “I would appeal to anyone who was in the area at the time and who may have seen anything suspicious to come forward. We are particularly keen to speak to anyone who was on Perth Bridge or in Bridgend around 9.30pm on Sunday, July 17.
“The man responsible is described as being five feet 11 inches tall, wearing a navy blue hooded top and navy blue tracksuit bottoms.
“If you have any information, or if you know who this man is, I would encourage you to speak to our officers.”
