‘Serious’ crash closes road near Doune

The A84 has been blocked following a two-vehicle crash near Doune.

The crash happened at around 3.10pm just south of the River Teith.

It is believed that the vehicles collided head on.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said the crash was on a bend and that the Scottish Ambulance Service had been asked to attend.

The extent of any injuries is not yet known.

Police are currently diverting traffic along the A820 and the A873.
