Two Perthshire women have raised hundreds of pounds for charity after having their heads shaved.
Edith Hannah and Lorraine Scott, staff members at Perth Marks and Spencer’s raised almost £1,400 for Macmillan by braving the shave on Saturday.
The event took place in the Perth store in front of customers.
Edith said she had been inspired to take part after hearing that similar charity ventures had led to a medical breakthrough.
She said: “I’d heard recently that the Ice Bucket Challenge had helped make a breakthrough in treatment of motor neurone disease so when my colleague Lorraine said was having her head shaved I decided to do it too.
“It was a great experience – we had a good crowd who were really supportive.”
